T-Shirt Quilt

Service Description

Do you or a loved one have a bunch of t-shirts that they don't or can't wear but don't want to get rid of? A great way to hang on to them or cherish the memories is to turn them into a t-shirt quilt! What you will learn: - How to creatively breakdown and stabilize a t-shirt. - How to piece your shirts together and how to back them - How to give them a border, bat them, back them and bind your quilt. Required materials: - 12-18 t-shirts - Coordinating thread - 3 yards of a cotton border fabric - 5 yards of a cotton backing fabric - 2 yards of cotton binding fabric - 3 yards of medium weight white interfacing - Roll of quilt batting (full or queen size recommended) *All cotton fabrics must be pre-washed and dried before class!* Student age requirement: 14+ Participants are encouraged to bring their own machine. We have some available to rent for an additional $10/per session, please call the shop at 702-522-9551 to reserve a machine.

Cancelation Policy

All class participants must call the shop at 702-522-9551 for any cancellations or rescheduling. All classes are non-refundable, however, if you cannot attend a class that you have signed up for, we will give you a credit, good for 90 days, to use towards another class. No call-no show forfeits any refund or exchange. If for any reason Pincushion must cancel a class, your class fee will be fully refunded.
